  • Are the workouts different from the last challenge? Yes! All new workouts.  I gotta keep you on your toes and far away from being bored! 
  • Will there be meal plans? Yes, the. challenge guide comes with several meal plan examples.  But more importantly each week we will have a nutritional goal to work on so you don't have to follow a rigid meal plan if you don't want to!
  • ​I have an Apple Watch, can I use that instead? Sorry, but a Myzone heart rate monitor is required because with Myzone you will earn points for your effort. With the way Myzone calculates those points, it's a level playing field for all competitions no matter their size or age. *If you don't like at the end, you can sell it!
  • I don't have a gym membership, can I still join? Yes! I have home and gym workouts.

A binge eater, to bodybuilding, to a balanced badass!

So... Let me explain what I went through that shaped my thought process on fitness and how I became this weirdo I am today! 😉And maybe you can relate!

Phase 1 of 3… Out run my bad diet.

I was very emotional. I would eat everything. Nothing was off limits.

And in my head, it was OK!

I told myself it was ok, because I would run 4 miles 5 days a week! I was literally outrunning my bad diet. I thought this was the answer!

This worked for a little while during my younger years. But then I couldn’t keep up with the intensity needed to outwork the havoc the food was causing. I slowly started to gain weight! 

I knew deep down that I needed to get control of my food. I needed to learn how to control myself and not eat everything in site in hopes that my workouts would be enough. 

This created Phase 2 of 3. The BULLDOZER!

🚧Bulldozer Effect is an Allie term. It means you're going to take a bulldozer to everything you're doing now and take it to the extreme!  I'm talking about doing things like: 

“Completely giving up carbs.” 

“Totally cutting out sugar.”

"Use a cleanse and a belly wrap"

I went from eating everything in sight to very strict and regimented diet to get myself on stage to compete in a bodybuilding show. This means a super strict and blah diet involving a LOT of tilapia, chicken, asparagus and brown rice with zero sauce.

I went from running everyday to lifting heavy, cardio, and little food. I had strict rules to follow.

I looked amazing and I even had a 6 pack! 

I felt amazing because I had abs....until I stood on stage at 9% body fat and was still not good enough to even place! 

I went through all this hard work to not even get a glance from the judges!

It wasn’t worth it and I couldn't keep this up....I wasn't happy.

I knew I needed to find something else.

Phase 3 of 3 - The Fitness Life

After that final show, it was supposed to be my "off season".  My time to build a better body and get back on stage phase. But it ended up being much more than that.

Rather than rebuilding, I decided what "taking a break from bodybuilding" felt like.

To my surprise, after a lot of work and time I found better self esteem

A body I could sustain with a lifestyle that made me happy.

I had a better relationship with food AND I was strong in the gym. (thank you food!)

I had finally created BALANCE!
