?Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I have to start right away?

Nope! I know with the holidays it's hard and stressful to start a new program. We only ask that you start no later then January 17th.

How long do I have access to the programs?

You have app access during your program. If you'd like a copy of the workouts you had, you can ask for them from your trainer and we can send you a pdf of your workout program.

What if I am unhappy with the training?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you complete the workouts, show up and communicate with your trainer and after 30 days still feel this program is not for you and you see no value in our training, we will refund your money. 

Do I need a gym membership?

Nope! If you purchase the personal training packages, you will meet us at the gym. If you purchase online training and do not have a gym, we will write up your program with whatever you have available. We suggest you get a couple dumbbells.. but it's not necessary.

What should I eat during the program?

With all of the programs in our Black Friday Sale, we coach you through nutrition. So don't stress it!

What if I don’t get any results?

If you follow the program you will get excellent results. This program has been followed by tons of my clients and we’ve never had anyone complete it without getting results. 

Do I need a special device to watch the coaching videos or to use the app?

Nope! The app works for all smart phones!

About our Coaches

Hey! I’m Allie.
I'm the co-founder of The Fitness Life. I’ve been a personal trainer for 8 years, and I’ve competed in bodybuilding competitions (complete with asparagus-and-chicken-breast diets for months on end), done hours of cardio, and tried a TON of different fitness programs.
For a long time, I thought the same as you - that losing weight and getting fit meant cutting out carbs and sugar, looking longingly at the dessert menu when I got together with friends or went to parties, spending hours on working out every week, and basically turning myself into a nervous, calorie-counting wreck!
But I finally gave up. It wasn’t working. Yes, I was technically “thin”, but I wasn’t healthy. I didn’t have energy, I had to keep stopping in the middle of my workouts, my skin wasn’t glowing and my hair and nails were weak - and that was when I put my stake in the ground. I was DONE feeling like a basket case just so I could win a trophy on stage and feel like I’ve made it!

Howdy! I’m Logan.
I'm the other co-founder of The Fitness Life. I am your golf fitness, injury recovery, athletic performance or overall fitness specialist! 

My story is a little bit different than most people's "transformation" stories. In America today, all the stories come from those who need to lose weight because we have so many delicious choices of things to eat, and a plethora of activities that require no effort at all.   This leads many down a road where excess weight is gained....and then gained some more.  
Me on the other hand, I've always been skinny and I've always been active. I played every sport I could growing up and if you had a job that needed to be done all you had to do was point me in the right direction and get out of the way and I would work till the job is done. 

I lifted weights all through high school but still graduated at 6 foot tall and a measly 160 lbs. I hear all the time how "easy" fitness must be for me because I'm lean and I have a high metabolism. Thanks to my genetics I do stay pretty lean, but that also means that it's very hard for me to gain and maintain muscle. Keeping the size I've worked so hard to gain on my frame is just as much of battle as it is for those who struggle with weight gain to keep it off.  

I know, I know...... nobody will be shedding a tear for me and my struggle, just try to remember we all have our advantages and disadvantages, but you can

Whether you have always been know as "skinny" or "big boned" your whole life, that's nothing more than a starting point.

It's not your destination if you don't want it to be and you're willing to work for it.  

Bottom line is, living healthier is a lifelong journey that will have its ups & downs, won't always be easy, but isn't always the grind people think it is......once you've learned the right way to do it.

Hey! I’m Julie.
My love for fitness and exercise started young. I remember being 6 or 7 and changing into my leotard so I could exercise with my mom while she did an aerobics program on PBS TV.

As I grew I dabbled in every form of group exercise. Step aerobics, Barre, spin, kickboxing, Power Pump, you name it I have probably tried it.  

Once I stepped into the weight room everything changed for me. I loved being able to lift heavy things and watch my physique change as I got stronger.  

Now I'm all about learning to lift smarter not harder.
